Every year Accenture together with its network of experts take the effort to look into the future of technology, analyzing key developments across business and tech and forecasting trends that will reshape our world. This year's Technology imagination study takes us on a journey to the metaverse, a continuum of technology and experience, reshaping business...
But what does it all mean? How will it impact the work of improvement teams and developers themselves?
In my talk I will discuss the key areas described in this years Tech Vision, including:
• the anticipation of a fresh Internet, which will appear from the concepts of the Metaverse and Web3,
• the digital revolution of the physical planet and the challenges around it,
• a synthetic reality created by the always increasing capabilites of AI,
• and briefly looking into the subject of supercomputers, which are expanding our cognitive boundaries and taking human investigation to a completely fresh level.
This talk will not be a presentation of the report, alternatively an effort to discuss the content to inspire you to reflect on the current developments in technology and business and how it will impact the work of developers.
