Large Language Models have been trained on Java's vast open ecosystem, including JEPs, JSRs, Jakarta EE specifications, documentation, and millions of lines of production code. But how can Java developers use this advantage effectively?

In this live hacking session, Adam Bien demonstrates how LLMs can be used to craft elegant, maintainable, zero-dependency Java solutions in real time. Rather than replacing developers, AI becomes a force multiplier that helps experienced engineers move faster while preserving simplicity, readability, and proven software engineering principles.

This talk is a practical exploration of AI-assisted development from the perspective of a long-time Java practitioner, focused on writing better software—not generating more complexity.
