GeeCON 2023: Paweł Marks - The origin of the feature

Programming languages are constantly evolving. Even Java, a very conservative language for much of its history, has been developing rapidly in fresh years. As individual in the mediate of programming language development, I want to show you where fresh language features come from and how a decision is made about whether or not an addition fits the language. You'll see what distinguishes excellent language features from bad ones and why any features are valued in 1 language but are flawed in another. We will besides research 2 thought-provoking questions: 'Is all fresh thought in programming just another rehash of what was known before?' and 'Will we always have 1 perfect programming language fitting all our needs?'
