I'll effort to show only the useful parts of Maven. No slides, just one, continuous demo/recordings on triple-speed. Warning! This will be chockfull of tips! Basic Maven errors: clean install, platform-dependent build. A useful setting.xml config trick. POM-validation. Build tests. uncovering outdated versions (both plugins and dependencies) to bump them automatically. Solving safety problems. Dependency convergence, resolving NoSuchMethod/ClassErrors. Output control: cut "downloading" messages, log control. Maven Central speed-search. Speeding the build: output, selective build via command switches, yet with Maven Daemon. licence governance.
